- I absolutely LOVE my job! After 23 years of working and living in the safari industry, I can't possibly imagine doing anything else with my life as I'm right where I belong! I grew up on a farm in remote northern South Africa and when I started working in the safari industry, I managed luxury safari camps in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia and toured through some of Africa's most exquisite parks and reserves for the next 17 years! As the co-owner of Explorations Africa, I now love guiding private groups and introducing guests to the spectacular wildlife and cultures of Africa. I love making people happy, photographing village kids and the often-missed little details of safari life!

- I have a passion for exploring Africa and introducing others to the wonders of Africa's wildlife and people! I was fortunate to grow up in Africa so starting Explorations Africa was a natural extension of my love for the continent. I'm a history and photography buff and love to share my knowledge and experiences with others. One of my favourite spots on safari is to be on a boat on the Chobe River when the sun is setting and the sheer array of wildlife blows your mind!

we have travelled with them before, then with Antoinette and husband Dan with us. This time we are going without them, and had a great pretrip meeting with Antoinette and asst Gwyn , which put our minds at ease over all the last minute document requirements demanded by the governments in Kenya and Tanzania ,..now lets hope the trip goes off without a hitch!
